The Houston office is officially open! DFI is proud to announce that we’ve expanded to a second branch in the United States with General Manager, Yung Phang, leading the way.
We’re located in the city of Conroe, a principal city in the Greater Houston area, specifically in the Aurora Business Park.
Meet Yung
Yung Phang brings 20 years of engineering, sales and operations experience to DFI Piling; with over 18 years in the piling industry, 14 of which were in the helical foundation business. Leading sales and engineering teams, driving lean principles through a manufacturing facility and establishing successful international branch offices are highlights of his portfolio.
Mr. Phang has been involved in a diverse array of foundation applications throughout North America; from a Walmart supercenter and a bridge P3 project, to a new olefin facility and transmission towers across a river. He’s weighed in on all aspects of deep foundation construction including technical and legal review, estimating, sales, marketing, project execution, and cost management.
A graduate of the University of Alberta, Mr. Phang has made it his professional goal to steward innovation and safety to the civil foundation industry. His passion for civil construction and client advocacy is a common thread in all of his placements right from his very first role as a geotechnical engineer and materials lab manager.
When not at the office, he serves as a board member of The Woodlands-Creekside Park Village Association, wrenches on his cars and travels to many corners of the earth with his family.
