Accuracy From Start To Finish
DFI pile testing is conducted in accordance with Standards Australia AS 2159-1995 Piling – Design & Installation standard.
Our engineers use your geotechnical data and structural needs to develop a personalized load testing program that meets or exceeds industry standards. Following this we execute static or dynamic tests using our proprietary installation equipment.
Pile capacity testing provides site-specific results of pile performance, which is used to either economize foundation designs (pre-design/pre-construction) or to verify design (post-design/during construction).
Testing Methods
The best results occur when static capacity testing is performed in conjunction with Pile Driving Analyzer (PDA) tests.
Dynamic PDA Capacity Testing
Dynamic Pile Driving Analyzer (PDA) tests are high strain load tests that assess the capacity of driven piles. They also evaluate shaft integrity, driving stresses, and hammer energy during installation.
Our technicians process the data and prepare the final reports.
Static Capacity Testing
Static capacity tests measure the response of driven or helical piles under an applied load. The purpose of such tests is to verify that the load capacity in the constructed pile is greater than the nominal resistance (compression, tension, lateral, etc.) used in the design.
Test results are reviewed and processed by our design engineers, and a final report is prepared and delivered.
